Vendor Spotlight # 6

This is day 6 of my vendor spotlight for Christmas in the Valley. Each day, I will be giving you details about a different vendor, letting you know what they offer and why you should come to Christmas in the Valley to check them out! Keep in mind that Christmas in the Valley is a unique craft fair, in that EACH vendor will be offering specials deals and discounts!

Today’s vendor is LaurelTree Designs. LaurelTree begain in Pensacola, Florida in 1992, when Dave and Laurel began renovating a 1940's farm house sitting on 4 acres of abandoned flower nursery property. Combining their love of home and garden design with their DIY abilities, a cottage industry was soon started by word of mouth as friends asked for renovation advice and help. Laurel also began working with a friend at a local florist and they began decorating weddings and banquets, adding a new area of experience to her love of flowers. Dave and Laurel moved to the Memphis area in 1994 and began designing a new home and yard. They were showcased on Midsouth Gardens TV show hosted by Greg Touliatos in 1996, featuring their newly created gardens and koi pond with 100 ft. running stream. Both Dave and Laurel have worked fulltime in publishing, Dave as an artist and Laurel as a writer and designer. They have continued to use their art and writing skills to provide other DIY homeowners with graphic design and written advice for step-by-step instructions for home decoration and landscape plans. Clients include members of Dixie Rose Club, Memphis Raquet Club and many residential homes.

Both are talented artists and designers who will offer their services at a 25% discount for Christmas in the Valley; providing design advice for curb appeal for front doors and entryways, custom-designed porch pot plantings, landscape drawings, custom centerpieces and arrangements, wall hangings, Holiday & Seasonal decorating, and Home Staging. For sale on-site will be seasonal and holiday faux arrangements. Order forms will be available for discount off custom arrangements, wall hangings, and in-home design consultations.

Today, there will be 2 vendor spotlights, so be sure to check back later today for Vendor Spotlight # 7!
